Snow Fun

Good morning!
Due to some family things I was unable to even look at let alone work with the last two kits!  But when I did open them man was I excited! A couple times a winter my family goes sledding at our local damn with friends - I have so many photos to scrap and seeing the Carta Bella papers and embellishments!

It is not very often I create double page layouts.....but I had so many photos from this sledding day that I decided to make a two page!

I used the kraft coloured cardstock as a base for the otehr wonderful colours to bounce off from

I created lots of layers using the cardstock, papers and stickers.  To add dimension I used foam dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I will be back to show a another layout is a few days!

Pretty In Pink - October kit!

Good morning!
Although the colours in this months kit are fabulous for all your fall photos there is also beautiful pink papers!
As scrapbookers and parents we are often the ones behind the camera and not very often do we step out in front unless it is a family photo!  We need to be in the photos more often....

I began by tearing then layering the beautiful pink papers then I added some lace from my stash

to add a bit of colour I added some of the teal paper and a few teal flowers!

I created clusters using the flowers from the kit and add ons and some from my stash

More from the October kit!

Good morning!
The gorgeous chipboard from Southern Ridge trading company and the fabulous kit from Scrapshotz go great together!

I started by layering the fabulous Pink Paislee papers and chose the wonderful color scheme to carry on to the awesome Southern ridge chipboard!

I embossed the eye catching flourish in black then added some teal liquid pearls to accent the swoops!

It looks awesome against the grey and teal papers from Pink Pailsee

I added some flowers from my stash!

I embossed the family title in black too!

September kit project - Beach layout - Laura

Good morning!
I am excited to share my next layout with you using the September Kit featuring the Prima Santorini collection!

I took this photo at one of our local beaches...Ty was just staring out at the water.

The paper I chose really reminded me of the beach!

I created a couple of clusters using the fabulous flowers from the kit and add on and the chipboard also from the main kit!

Keeping with the beach feel I added some cheese cloth behind the photo

To finish I added a journaling card and chipboard heart

Good morning!
I am back to share my third and final project suing the wonderful Stargazer collection from Kaisercraft!

I knew when I saw this title I had to create a layout about me and our boys!

'When you stop + look around - this life is pretty amazing'

I started by layering the papers from the collection pack

I tore some strips of the coordinating  papers

I added a sticker from the sticker sheet

I cut the title into pieces rather than one long title and added a butterfly from last months kit!

Product Reveal - Kaisercraft Stargazer!

Good morning!
When I received my products for this month I was so happy!
I LOVE Kaisercraft and was really wanting to work with the Stagazer collection!

My first layout is of our youngest when he was little....

'I love you to the moon and back'

I used the busiest paper (which I still really liked) as a background to give dimension and visual insterest.  I will often use the busiest or loudest paper in the a collection pack as my background paper

I used some gold paint through the wonderful mini stencil for a blast of colour

I then began to layer papers to make the photo the focal point and the coordinating die cuts.

My second layout is of our oldest a while ago also

'You are my sun....'

The collection pack makes it very easy to layer all the coordinating papers!

I kept the photo the focal point by adding and layering all my papers, die cuts, doilies (from my stash) and a piece of burlap (also from my stash) so your eye is drawn to the photo.
Thanks for stopping by and check back tomorrow for my third layout!
