New in the Store!

Goodness the store is filled to the brim with yummy scrapping products - so much so that I don't know where to start shopping! LOL

Let me show a few items that have caught my eye! Firstly, check out Teresa Collins "Stationary Noted" - the patterns and colours of her papers are simply divine. A pop of red on any layout adds a punch of spunk and sass that screams "Beautiful."

Another Teresa Collins' line: "He Said, She Said" has me equally smitten. My head is buzzing with ideas...if only I had the hours to make everything I have envisioned!

Thank you Rosie for these beautiful projects!

So what has caught your eye lately in the store?

Project Life: Week 4

Welcome to Week 4 of Project Life; Rosie has been so wonderful to share her Project Life journey with the Scrap Shotz readers.

From Rosie ...

I think I have more 2 page spreads in the first two month of the 2013 than in all of 2012 combined. Week 4 brings another two page spread and I had a couple of photos that were taken in portrait rather than landscape that I wanted to leave full size. So I left them full size and decided to live with them being "sideways". I'd rather have them in the spread than leave them out because they didn't "fit". That's the nice thing about this project, anything goes!!

Here is a close-up of the left side:

The days of the week die cut was cut on my Cameo machine and again this week I added captions directly to the photos in PSE and also hand journaled directly on a photo in addition to added clear epoxy sticker captions to some photos.

Here's the right side:

The filler cards and journal cards are from the Project Life Seafoam core kit and I also added part of the program from the Sunday service at our church.
I would love to see what your Project Life looks like, feel free to leave a link here so I can take a look at it!

Thank you Rosie!

Show Some Love!!!

For me February is the month of love. In the stores, you are inundated with shades of red and pink. As a mother of 2 girls, it is fun to see all the mushy frilly decorations. This made me think about scrapbooking. How? Well, how do I scrap about love?

Do I show activities and events that my families loves to partake in? Absolutely!!!

Supplies:  Bazzill (cardstock); Echo Park (pattern paper, die cut stickers, alphas); EK Success (border punch); BasicGrey (pearls); American Crafts (journal pen, large alphas)

Do I scrap about the moments when the girls are not egging each other on??? You betch!

Supplies:  Bazzill (cardstock); Making Memories (pattern paper, sequins, die cuts); WRMK (chomper); Kaisercraft (nylong butterfly); Authentique (mini alphas); American Crafts (large alphas); ribbon (source unknown); EK Success (border punch)

And do I show those very special moments between a Dad and his daughter? Oh yes!!!

Supplies:  Echo Park (pattern paper, alphas, die cut stickers); stitching; EK Success (circle punch); BasicGrey (pearls); Kaisercraft (nylon butterfly)

So now you see why I adore the month of love...it makes me reflect on my scrapbooking and hope my families sees how much they are loved...and how much I love this wonderful wonderful hobby! So dig out your lovey dovey papers and get scrapping!

Can you share what you love?
