Scrapping with Scraps

Some may refer to me as a hoarder; others may refer to me as frugal; and others may refer to me as ingenious <-- course="" div="" i="" latter="" lol="" of="" prefer="" the="">
Today I thought I would share a few layouts I created with the itty bitty pieces of pattern paper I saved from older Scrap Shotz monthly kits - I just can't seem to throw away the scraps!!!

One of the techniques I love to use is to create a "quilt block" around the focal point photo. I usually pick photos that have definite colours. As well, I mix and match larger and smaller patterns with bolder and subtle colours. The "quilt blocks" allow me to embellish with scraps too, using a layered approach because I just love dimension.

Supplies:  Bazzill (cardstock); Jillibean Soup (pattern paper, die cuts, sticker numbers, phrase stickers); Little Yellow Bicycle (fabric border, dimensional die cut stickers); Basic Grey (chipboard alphas); Prima (gems); American Crafts (Slick writer)

As you know, I create layouts 2 at a time, usually. With a quick rotation and seeing all the extra squares I punched on my desk, I created this layout, also using a "quilt block" too.

Supplies:  Bazzill (cardstock); Jillibean Soup (pattern paper, cardstock die cuts, journal spots, word phrases); Little Yellow Bicycle (fabric border, dimensional stickers); Basic Grey (chipboard alphas); American Crafts (Slick Writer)

How do you scrap with your scraps???

Bo Bunny Isabella

Are you looking for something that is classic but fresh?? Maybe something that is a smidgeon feminine but not over the top girly girl?? Well, let me recommend the Bo Bunny Isabella collection.

The Isabella collection has all the classic Bo Bunny features that we love...the contemporary takes on patterns, gorgeous colours and the heavier weight papers making it easy to create a variety of projects.

Here is a layout that I created about my youngest when she presented her video at a summer camp.

Supplies: Bo Bunny (pattern papers, alphas, cardstock stickers); Maya Road (metal butterflies); Prima (ribbon roses); Kaisercraft (cardstock die cuts); American Crafts (Slick Writer); Zva (crystals)

Thanks for dropping by!

Bo Bunny Serenity

Have you been ogling the goodies Sandy has brought into the store recently???? If so, I know you could not have missed the gorgeous and richly hued Bo Bunny Serenity collection pack.

When I first purchased the Serenity collection pack, I had very specific ideas in mind for the papers...but when I started scrapping, all my ideas were tossed aside. Why? The colours and patterns worked superbly with lots of different events and photos.

Here are a few of the projects I used the Bo Bunny yumminess on -

Additional Supplies:  Versamagic (liquid chalk); Prima (gems); American Crafts (slick writer), Close to my Heart (cardstock)

Additional Supplies:  Authentique (mini alphas); Prima (gems)

Additional Supplies:  Bazzill (cardstock); Kaisercraft (pearls)

Thanks for dropping by! Tomorrow I'll post a looksie at the Scrap Shotz Annual National Scrapbooking Day Crop make n take :-)
