Carta Bella Gone Camping Layout - Happy Lakeside Adventure

Hi friends! Karla back today with a summertime layout using the Carta Bella Gone Camping collection! You may remember seeing some projects I created last month using this awesome collection - and if you missed them be sure to check out the pocket page & process video post HERE as well as the product reveal video, a layout, and a pocket page on this post HERE.

I decided to play around with the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine July Sketchy Challenge and used the lake themed papers in the Carta Bella Gone Camping Paper Pack. Even though they are fishing related, and we were simply enjoying a day at the beach, I felt they worked great and re-inforced the lake theme I was going with.

I used some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to colour a 'Happy' diecut that was just laying on my desk from a previous project and splattered on some mist drops over my background. The pretty blue mist colour coordinated with the blue Distress Oxide Ink I used with a stencil in several areas of the layout too. I am really liking adding different fonts and stickers to create titles with, so I grabbed some orange PinkFresh Studio puffy alphas and used them beside the Adventure banner sticker that I found in the 12x12 sticker sheet, which is included in the paper pack. I layered the 'Explore Lakeside' sticker, from the sticker sheet as well, on my photo grid and then added a stamped fish from the coordinating Gone Camping Acrylic Stamp Set.

I added the Good Mood diecut from the Gone Camping Ephemera Pack, which is full of awesome images and diecuts! A few more of the stickers and stamps along with some sequins and a wood veneer continue the theme.

I used the Project Life App to print out my journaling on a card and used some emojis. I am really loving my Canon Selphy Printer to print photos or journaling cards that I haven't already printed out! I used some more Glimmer Mist to spray an anchor wood veneer and added a bit of twine for another embellishment.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you are all having a wonderful summer, taking lots of pics to scrap 😉. Be sure to head over to the Scrap Shotz Store to see all the fantastic goodies and check out what's new!

Scrap Shotz June kit reveal - Wild Whisper design Day 2

Hello friends!
Gloria here today to share June card kit project. This kit is so beautiful and perfect for summer project. You can find this set at the Scrap Shotz Store!

For create this project, first I added some white ink splatters all over the 12 x 12 size Stonehenge card stock.

I cut the Lake Life paper for layering.
Here are a few step outs showing how I got my pieces together and adhere them all using double-sided tape.

I need some more flowers so I fussy cut flowers from the Lake Life paper with my Cutter Bee scissors.

And I adhere the flowers on the layout using double-sided tape.

For the sentiment, I used thickers from American crafts and added Peacock Feathers Sequin Mix from Neat and Tangled.

My second project is a Tri- shutter card.

I referenced Beccy's tutorial here.
For create this card, I folded and cut with Mysterious teal card stock using the diagram from the reference.

I put on the pieces on the folded card how got them all together.

And adhere them all as shown using double sided tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
