Hello! Karla back, and we are definitely getting close to Christmas. I have a treat for you today... the December 2019 Kit Club is featuring the gorgeous Kaisercraft Starry Night collection - along with some beautiful goodies you'll see below! I for one cannot wait to print off my Christmas photos and use this amazing kit to get scrapping.

Here's a look at the video where you can see all these beautiful elements close up!

Now here are some closeups -
There are 9 gorgeous gold foiled patterned papers included. Definitely lots of options for cutting apart certain pages, making cards and tags - even an advent calendar or December Daily with a page full of numbers!

The B side of those papers above are just as stunning!

You'll get 8 coordinating cardstock sheets, gold foiled ephemera, a chipboard embellishment from Southern Ridge Trading Company, gold letter Thickers, wood flourishes and 1/2 a pkg of glass Curio embellishments.

The white and gold twine also included is beautiful!

The Christmas Word Thickers and Starry Night Acrylic Stamp Set are just two of the Add-On's available that coordinate beautifully with your kit. And don't forget as a Kit Club Member you get first pick of those Add-On's 😉

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out all the details on Kit Club sign up HERE.

I'll be back soon to show you what I created with these amazing goodies! I hope you are all having a fabulous Christmas season so far. Don't forget to take some time for yourself and do the little things that make you happy too!

Hello again!
I hope you enjoyed a warm and wonderful Christmas with your family & friends.

I am back on the blog today to share a twist & pop card I made using product that is available at the Scrap Shotz online shop.

This was my first attempt at a twist & pop card. If you are interested in trying one I suggest taking a look at Karla Yungwirth's tutorial video. It's the one I referred to when making my card.

Here is the front of my card

This is the inside of the card.

Check out the video to see the card in action and some closeups.

Scrap Shotz December Kit Reveal #2 - Virginia

Hello again,

Wow, the December Scrap Shotz kit has been so inspiring for me. I am super excited to share my December Daily with you. This year I've kept it relatively simple and focussed on specific moments of the day and a few days of reflections.

In the past I've used a Simple Stories binder and their inserts; they were part of a kit one year and let's say I was smitten! I kept the cover simple and focussed a lot on our story this year.

The first few pages of my album are shown below. All the supplies are from the December Scrap Shotz monthly kit or tidbits from previous Scrap Shotz kits.

My apologies for the glare on the glossy photos. They are from my Polaroid Zip, not the best but definitely fun.  You will see how much I love the satin alphas and dimensional stickers.

Subsequent days.... showcasing the rub ons and brads.

New for me this year is combining days together on a page. Also I cracked open my Fuse and used it to seal the glitter, sequins and beads in the pockets. It was SO SO easy; why didn't I use it sooner?

Here is a close-up of the pocket - what is fun is that you can shake it and it becomes a paper snow globe?

Here is the flip side of the page...

I have different shapes and sizes of pages, from giant tags to half circles. Some days I journal alot and others not as much. I include the good and not so good.

What I love about this kit is the amazing pattern papers as well as the accents. My foundation pages are created and awaiting pictures and just a few more of the enamel drops to go!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year - thank you for dropping by!

December 2017 Scrap Shotz Kit Reveal with Virginia

The Scrap Shotz December 2017 monthly kit is fab-u-lous! I decided to use the kit to make a variety of gift card holders which are so handy this time of year.

The first gift card holder is shown below; the gift card is stored on the top flap of the card. The bottom stabilizes the card and provides a private message to the recipient. The sentiment is by My Favorite Things (Hand Lettered Christmas) and embossed in silver; Sandy is happy to order this must-have Christmas stamp for your stash.

Another gift card holder I make several of is super easy. These gift card holders can be as dressed up as you like.

Start with a 4.25"x10" piece of cardstock. Score at 3", 4", 5" and 8"

Fold along the score lines and use strong adhesive to adhere the lines scored at 3" and 5". The 4" score line should be raised.

Cut a gift card opening along the raised fold and insert the gift card.

The last gift card holder that I also make several of is shown below. It uses a 4.25" x 12" piece of cardstock.

Score at 5.5" and 11"; fold along the score lines. The bottom flap is folded and held together with 2 brads to anchor the gift card.

With a scrap piece of cardstock I started to make a cumberbund around the card but decided to adhere it to the bottom of the card similar to a bendie card. It gave me an opportunity to accent the card.

I hope I've inspired you with these projects - I look forward every month for my kit box :-)

Hello!
Welcome back to the blog for some additional inspiration from the Scrap Shotz December 2016 Monthly Kit. We have some lovely projects courtesy of Creative Team member Virginia.

I used the title of this layout as the post title, the wintery themed products are perfect accents for these gorgeous winter photos.
The wooden snowflakes are so pretty covered in glitter and Virginia has done a great job mixing patterned papers.
Virginia used a marbling techniques on the tags in the lower right side, here is a close up,

These ugly sweater cards are darling! What a creative way to use these papers😊.

Thanks for stopping in and taking a look. If you have any questions about these projects please leave a comment.

Some Winter Cheer

**Please Note: Photobucket very recently changed their terms of service and no longer supports direct linking for 3rd party hosting of images. To view the images not displayed, hover and right click over image, then choose either "open image in new window" or "open link in new window" **

Hello!
We have some lovely cards to share with you created by our Creative Team member Lorraine.
Who wouldn't be cheered receiving one of these beautiful cards. The Scrap Shotz December kit provides all the supplies needed to create these cards with the exception of the ribbon which came from Lorraine's stash. The kit is sold out but if you are interested in Scrap Shotz kits, click here to see the latest kit available for purchase.

This is a lovely any occasion card, that centre panel is a sticker from the 12x12 sticker sheet included in the kit. The black card stock creates a striking frame for the patterned paper panel.

Lorraine's bows are a signature touch on her cards and this white bow is gorgeous. This card features a narrow mat under the patterned paper panel as opposed to the larger mat on the previous card.

This card features a die cut panel holding the sticker sentiment which has been raised with pop dots. The chipboard snowflake has been painted with the Ranger Silver Metallic Paint Dabber and then placed over the centre of the ribbon bow.

Lastly, we have this stunning card which demonstrates how easy it is to mix and match the patterned papers in this kit. The sentiment quote, image and banner are all stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet that was included in this kit.

Come back in the next few days to get a look at Lorraine's scrapbook layouts created with this kit.

Thanks for stopping in😊
