Scrap Shotz June Kit-Hawaii Mini Album

Hello!
After watching some YouTube videos I was inspired to make a mini album from scratch, I used some a cardboard sheet for the cover and orange card stock to create the inner spine to attach the pages to.

I used the MFT Circle Scribbles die for the diecut under the kit add on puffy sticker.
The left page holds a pamphlet from the condo we stayed at while the right page has journaling about our trip.

I put a journal card from the kit in this sleeve from the kit and layered it over a photo. I've used the same circle scribble diecut throughout the album to unify the pages.
I have journaled on the back side of this flip up sleeve.
A beach page along with journaling and the scribble die cuts.

I alternated the kit 4x6 photo sleeves with patterned paper pages, adhering them to the card stock spine to create the book pages and counting every page, ended up with 21 pages.

On the left page I have cut the leafy kit die cut in half and adhered over the journal card.

I used a banner punch from my stash to create the banner on the right page.

The kit leafy die cut is embellished with the kit Nuvo Crystal drops in Sugared Almond.

This is the last page in the book which is embellished with a combination of the add on kit stickers, the MFT circle scribble die cut from my stash and the kit Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look!

Steam Vents, Sea Turtles and the June Scrapbook Kit

Please click HERE if you are looking for details of the Scrap Shotz Design/Page Kit Team layout call!!!!

Hello Friends!

It's Rosie, back with a couple more layouts using the latest Scrap Shotz kit, there are still some kit subscriptions available so if you like what you see, click on the link to guarantee yourself the June kit as part of your 3 month subscription😀.

First up is Steam Vents:

I took almost 1500 photos😳 on our Hawaiian Vacation 3 years ago so every kit is a great opportunity to get them scrapbooked😉.  Some of the earthy colours in this line were perfect for these photos so I created this large patterned paper photo mat and bordered it with twine from a previous Scrap Shotz kit.

The leafy die cut is from the Wild Whisper Designs cutting file which matches the "Worlds Best" paper line and is cut for each kit by yours truly😊.  I cut the die cut in half and misted with black spray.

The kit Nuvo Crystal drops in Sugared Almond cover the wood veneer teardrop along with accenting the ends of the blooms of the die cuts.

Sea Turtle is my next layout:

I created a circular stitching template with the negative portion of a die cut I created for another project with my Silhouette Cameo and pierced stitching holes with my paper piercer along the inside of the die cut. I then hand stitched with embroidery floss from my stash.

I punched circles with my 2" circle punch from kit patterned papers, folded in half and adhered within the stitched circles. The stitched border is the perfect place to house the alphas (custom cut with the Silhouette Cameo for this kit) creating the title for this page.

The die is cut in half and popped up with foam tape on either side of the photo. I also embellished the die cut with kit Crystal Nuvo Drops.

Photo is punched with a 3" circle punch and adhered to the card stock with foam tape in between the die cut halves.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look at these projects!

Scrap Shotz June Kit Reveal

Hello!

If you are looking for the details on the Design Team and Page Kit Designer Call, please click HERE.

The June Scrap Shotz kit features a local company, Wild Whisper Designs and their "World's Best" line.

Rosie here to share with you my first 2 projects created with the latest kit.

This layout is based on this sketch from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine:

I turned the sketch and created the "swoop" with the sequins included in the kit.
I also added a little glitter from my stash.

The gold flowers are a kit add-on.

I sprayed numbers from my stash with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine mist and the crochet edged accent is from a previous Scrap Shotz kit.

This next project celebrates Father's Day and this line can be used for both Father's Day and Mother's Day projects.

I cut various pieces of patterned paper and positioned them in a square. I then taped off an area with painters tape, applied embossing ink then Emerald Creek Hammered Metal embossing powder and heat set. This embossing powder is chunky-ish so I applied heat to the underside of the paper so I wouldn't blow the powder all over the place-yes I have done that before ;). A strip of patterned paper completes this oversized photo mat. Nuvo Crystal drops from the kit above and below the paper block complete the "frame" .

I fussy cut locks and keys from one of the patterned papers and used the "love" key to create the "love dad" title. It's hard to tell from the photo but I highlighted 3 of the keys with a Wink of Stella marker.

I will have more projects to share in the next few days and check out our Design Team/Page Kit Designer Call, link is at the beginning of the post 😊

Thanks for stopping by!
