February Kit Club Graduation Layout!

Hello friends! I sure hope you've been staying warm! It has been so cold here in Calgary, Alberta that I have not felt one bit guilty staying inside to craft and keep warm 😉 I am really enjoying the February 2019 Scrapbook kit featuring the Pinkfresh Studio Indigo Hills 2 collection. The colours are gorgeous and so versatile. Today, I'm sharing a navy layout with orange highlights - so different than the purple double page layout from Friday - but all with the same kit supplies!

I chose the blue and orange Bazzill and cardstocks from the kit and chose coordinating papers to highlight the school theme from my photos. I based the layout on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine February Sketch, which is such a great basic starting point sketch. I used some of the Add-On journaling spots to add my date and as layering papers.

The puffy stickers were fun to add dimension and texture around the page and some of the dark Prima gems add just the right amount of bling!

The wood stickers were perfect to add to the page, adding just the right sentiments! A few chipboard hearts from the Add On Chipboard Stickers Pack finish off the page embellishments.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to check out the Reveal Post HERE to see what's in the February 2019 Scrapbook kit, and be sure to keep checking back to see lots more crafty posts to keep you inspired all month!

More Good Things with the February 2018 Scrap Shotz Monthly Kit

The sketch inspired me to make a couple of 5x5 cards with my leftover pattern paper from the February 2018 Scrap Shotz Monthly kit.

A close up of the dimension on the card is made with the fussy cut butterflies.

If I am making one card, why not make two? Here is another take on the sketch using my leftover pattern papers.

I love how versatile the "More Good Things" by Vicki Boutin. Here is a layout celebrating my daughter's 16th birthday. That watercolour inspired background is stunning!

And a close-up of the accent cluster - I am so smitten with the glitter phrases and mini foam letters.

Hope this post inspired you to create - give Vicki's More Good Things a go!

February Kit Release with Cathy

It's time for the February Kit Release and the sketch we are working with! This month, Vicki Boutin and her "All Good Things" is in the house! And our sketch come to you from Stuck Sketches. Here is the sketch we are working with.

http://stucksketches.blogspot.ca/2018/01/january-15-2018-challenge-featured_25.html

I used a few of the gorgeous 12X12 papers from the pack, the stamps and die set and the sticker collection. I love that the arrow stamp has the matching die!

I used the Distress Oxides to ink up left over piece of card stock then stamped the flower image and heart images in Black Archival once it was dry. All the Good Things Stamp and Die Set is in the store.
And here is my version of our sketch for this month.

I adore this page in the package!! And the best part is those hanging jewels in the corner...are also a stamp in the set! It's just a beautiful design and I'm trying to decide how I'm going to use it on my next project.

A few close ups of some of the embellishments I added.

Images stamped on Distress Oxide stained cardstock, and there are dies for the flower and the hearts.

I love the arrows. I just used the die on it's own and chose the paper I wanted. But you can stamp the arrow image and colour in the feathers on the image.
A quick close up of my pictures, my and my kids, acting normal and goofing around. I did enjoy the bottom pic because I got to be the tall one in the picture for a change LOL

I felt like it was a glitter kind of week so I added the words from the Thickers All Good Things set. It has the gold glitter and also black words.

My second project using the kit supplies is a simple cover on a signature for one of my traveler's journals. This signature was a ready made one so it needed some jazzing up.

I cut pieces from a 12X12 sheet from the paper pack. Loved the teal colour and the small design on this one. I cut the pieces at 4 1/4" across and 8 1/4" tall. I did not cover the spine since it won't show once it is tucked into the journal.

Stamped the arrow images in Wendy Vecchi's Cactus Flower Archival Ink, and the flowers at the top are a paper clip that comes in a package with other designs.

I fussy cut all the flowers from one of the sheets and attached them all with pop dots.

Head on over the shop to get your hands on the February Kit featuring Vicki Boutin's All Good Things Collection. And be sure to check out all the add ons that go with this release!

Be sure to keep checking in to see all the amazing projects to come from the Design Team!

Have a great day!

Have you seen this???? Yes this IS the February Scrap Shotz Monthly kit titled "Spring is Coming."

This kit is a beaut. Check out the stunning projects the Design Team wow'ed us with this month.

From Laurel, we have this whimsical layout. The kit is chock-ful of fabulous corrugated die cut shapes.

Ruby created this stunning card. The corrugated die cut shapes are easily adorned with the gems also included in the kit.

Jennifer created this gorgeous layout using the stunning shaped pattern paper and a few of the other pattern papers included in the kit. How can you resist those October Afternoon mini alphas??? (I know I can't!)

How can you resist the jaw dropping layout from Laura? I love how she used so many of the pattern papers of the kit. And that banner is the perfect accessory to her photo!

Stephanie's layout is a timeless beauty. Those 3D butterflies (a kit add-on) are a delicious accent to her layout. Don't miss the adorable die cut person in the corner - just too cute!

Included in this month's kit is a fantastic envelope mini album. Here is an excerpt from Rebecca's mini album. Stunning was the first word that came to my mind!

As you can see, this kit is amazingly versatile, absolutely gorgeous and oh so easy to work with! If you are contemplating a Scrap Shotz monthly kit subscription, run, don't walk to Scrap Shotz.
