Garden Shoppe-Paige Evans November Kit!

 Hello!

Rosie back with a few more projects crafted from the November Kit!

I die cut patterned paper with a Honey Bee Oval Thin Frames die and then pieced the background together, popping up alternate frames with two layers of cardstock.

I then fussy cut a group of blooms from the same paper and adhered to the centre of the oval with foam adhesive. The sentiment is from the die cut ephemera.

This desk calendar was super easy to make using the Taylored Expressions Mini Tear Off Calendar. There are 10 calendars in the set so perfect to make and give as gifts!

I added the stickers to white card stock and then fussy cut leaving a thin white border. The calendar is matted on patterned paper, then kit card stock. The calendar base is made from recycled cardboard and covered with patterned paper.

Every kit comes with 6 coordinating card stocks so I pulled out the Honey Bee die again and die cut ovals from each colour of card stock. Then I got to work piecing the frames together alternating colours and glueing them to a piece of copy paper. Once the full oval was completed I fussy cut around the oval and then trimmed one in half and another into quarters.

I centred this on patterned paper and added a punched border with foam adhesive along the bottom.

I ended up with three sets of these ovals so I had lots to work with!

You can see the ovals, which I've trimmed, laid out on this layout. To start, I gutted (cut out the centre) of the Garden Shoppe Acetate and then layered it over white card stock.

I used the Garden Shoppe Mini Stencils Kit Add On to create the 3 envelopes, top left, centre and bottom right. These are a perfect fit for a gift card so just trace and cut.

I've embellished the layout with kit stickers, die cuts and Thickers and some Studio Katia Onyx Crystals.

I hope you've enjoyed these projects and I would love to see your kit projects!

Garden Shoppe! Paige Evans - November Scrapbook Kit! Pt.2

Rosie back with another layout using the fabulous November kit!

I used the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine November sketch to scrapbook these photos from the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival in 2021.

The title rose gold Thickers are from my stash and the smaller letters are the kit stickers.

I've also edged the white card stock background with kit washi tape. The floral paper is paper #2 and I've also matted it on black card stock before adhering to the base, the base patterned paper is paper #22.

My favourite thing about this layout is the journaling which I've handwritten and used kit thickers and stickers as words and phrases within the journaling.

After I finished the layout I realized I didn't write any description about the photos themselves.
Easy problem to solve, I wrote the details of the photos on a piece of card stock and then adhered that to the back side of the layout.

I'll be back again with a few more kit projects!

Thanks for stopping by!

Garden Shoppe! Paige Evans - November Kit!

This month's kit features the fabulous Garden Shoppe by Paige Evans!

It's a fun and vibrant Fall line in classic Paige style, with lovely florals and happy colours! I challenged myself to use the main kit items only!

I love all the patterns and had a hard time choosing which ones to use but I narrowed it down to #6 and #11.

I cut 2" x 2" squares, turned each on the diagonal and scored at the 2" mark on my score board. I then turned the square and scored the other side on the 2" mark as well.

I then folded on the score line on both sides creating the shape below.

Then it was time to play with the pattern and the image below is the arrangement I liked the best.

I glued the edges that overlapped with liquid adhesive and then adhered all the pieces on paper #17.

I would normally use a larger photo on a 12x12 layout but I wanted to show off the background so I trimmed a photo down and centred it on the lower third of the page.

The photo is offset over the edge of a journal card from the ephemera pack and then popped up with foam adhesive.
I also grouped kit Thickers and ephemera around the photo. The phrase over the top of the photo mat is a sticker which has a clear background so I placed it on white card stock, fussy cut and adhered with foam adhesive.

I die cut hearts from paper #4 and popped them up with foam adhesive and also added hearts from the kit Thickers.
I finished the layout off creating a border around all four edges with the kit washi tape.

I hope you've enjoyed the details of this layout and I'll be back with more projects later!

Carta Bella Welcome Fall Layouts Part 2

Hello crafty friends! Today I have two more layouts with the Carta Bella "Welcome Fall" collection. This collection is all about leaves, pumpkins, oranges and yellows and don't forget the plaid!

My first layout was inspired by the November sketch in the Creative Scrapbooker Sketchy Facebook Group

I couldn't figure out a long title so I used some stickers and chipboard to make titles horizontally. Otherwise, I stuck to the sketch pretty well. After cutting out all the papers and pictures, I added a border to my pictures to make them the same size as the middle card. I used a white pen to draw the stitching border and to journal.

Lots of chipboard and cardstock stickers were used to embellish the page. I used some foam dots on the back of some of the stickers to pop them off the page.

My second layout was fun to make!

I fussy cut all those leaves from one piece of paper. Good thing there was something good to watch on Netflix at the same time. I used some glue dots to stick them all down. It worked really well because the entire leaf isn't stuck to the paper so it looks more layered. I could also move the leaves later if I didn't like their placement.

This time I used some puffy stickers and ephemera for the embellishments.

PS - no children were hurt during the sword fight:)

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a scrappy day!

Vicki Boutin Print Shop - Scrapshotz October Kit

Hi! I am having so much fun with the American Crafts Print Shop by Vicki Boutin line! It is so versatile and fun.

It's not often that I am allowed to use pink on a hockey photo for the boys, but this one is just right for it. I trimmed a piece of patterned paper 1/8" on all sides and matted it on a black base. The photo is also matted and popped up with black cardstock. The funky thickers are part of the kit, and I added a puffy heart sticker to dot the i. The rest of the embellishments are from the Paperie Pack. I love the variety of this pack and 200 pieces? Wow. I embellished with a trio of ink splats and a few more puffy hearts. I didn't want to put all the names of the players on here, so I put the program from that game in an envelope on the back of the layout. It lists all the players from both teams, so that's perfect.

I also used the patterned paper to create some cards.

Check out this line of awesome goodness! It is amazing! Vicki Boutin Print Shop is in the store!
