Scrap Shotz December Monthly Kit Club - Cabin Fever!

Hello All and welcome to the start of the December Monthly kit reveal😁!

The kit features the warm and cozy Carta Bella Cabin Fever line and is packed with 12 sheets of patterned paper, 8 sheets of coordinating card stock, 1 specialty paper, 1 set of Thickers, 1 sticker sheet, brads & chipboard, enamel dots and shapes and loads of add ons!

My first reveal post is all about cards and I've used a kit add on, the new Tim Holtz Starry Layering Stencil.

I decided to create some foiled backgrounds and started by applying Wendi Vecchi translucent embossing paste through the stencil over white card stock and then set aside to dry.

Now it's time to turn on the Minc machine and let it warm up 😀.

While it heats up, choose the colours of foil to use, cut to size lay over the embossing pasted card stock and place in carrier folder.

Run folder through Minc machine, note that the coloured side of the foil is facing up.

You'll be able to see the shine better in the following cards.

I fussy cut the snow globe from a pattered paper, popped it up over an MFT die cut frame and embellished with Studio Katia sequins.

The tree is cut with the Concord and 9th Trim the Tree die, the gold embossed tree is inlayed within the plaid paper after also cutting the paper with the tree die. The star at the top of the tree is fussy cut from the gold embossed card stock.
Kit enamel dots embellish the tree.

The sledding bear is a 3x4 card cut from a patterned paper and edged in gold Nuvo Glitter Paste.
Card is layered over 2 different patterned papers placed at opposite angles.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in Autumn Red embellish the snowflake centers.

The team is excited to share our projects with you and we will have lots to share between now and Christmas!

Thanks for stopping by!
