| October Scrap Shotz Kit with Rosie |

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian Friends!

I am back with my remaining projects using the October kit featuring the Simple Stories 'Beautiful' line.
I am often inspired to make more use of my Carpe Diem planner when working with the monthly kit. This kit is perfect for planners as the Sticker tablet is made to use with the Carpe Diem planner.

I have used stickers from the sticker sheet and the sticker tablet.
I have also added a little sparkle with some Studio Katia clear drops.

The square sticker on the 19th fits perfectly as it's made for use in these planners.

There are so many items that are fabulous to use as accents and this layout has every type included in the kit. Chipboard, die cuts, stickers and clear crystals accent these "slice of life" photos.

To re-create this layout:
1. Choose a patterned paper and cut a 4" x 12" strip of paper and a 0.5" strip from the same paper and place on the top and bottom of grey card stock.

2. Cut 8 - 2.5" x 2.5" squares from your choice of patterned papers, as these are double sided patterns you may wish to choose just 4 papers and use both the (a) and (b) sides.

3. Choose your photos, I've used 3, you can use up to 8 if you'd like more on your layout. Trim to no larger than 2.25"x 2.25". Adhere photos to square blocks in desired arrangement.

4. Choose various die cuts, stickers and chipboard and adhere to square blocks as desired.

5. Arrange flower die cuts under 'Life Is Beautiful' chipboard in the centre of the 4" paper strip at top of layout. Adhere everything with your choice of adhesive. I like to use Tombow Mono liquid glue on the chipboard to make sure it doesn't go anywhere😊

6. Add journaling to one of the square blocks and adhere clear crystal accents throughout the page.

Here are some close ups:

Now for my final project, this one featuring a free cut file from Scrapbook and Cards Today that I cut with my Silhouette Cameo.

I enlarged the die cut, backed the flowers with patterned paper and adhered to a piece of kit patterned paper with foam tape.

Here's a closer look at the flower on the left side, the flower centres are embellished with kit chipboard.

The flower on the right side is embellished with a kit die cut and also holds the layout title.

The photo mats are wrapped in Kaisercraft gold washi tape and Studio Katia clear crystals are scattered throughout to add some shine.

Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned to the blog all week to see Katelyn and Cathy's projects😄
